Only the DigitalBank Vault communicating devices have access to the one-time encryption keys, so only they can decipher the calls and messages. Third party access, including by DigitalBank Vault staff, is impossible.

You can set messages to be destroyed from one second to one year after being read. No metadata is left on the devices: all metadata content from the recipient’s and sender’s device is shredded and overwritten.

It is not possible for DigitalBank Vault ® to decrypt messages of DigitalBank Vault ® users; private keys used to decrypt the encrypted messages are not residing anywhere, they are created for milliseconds each time, and always different on each session.

The encrypted messages and media files (e.g. images, videos, location share, voice messages) are immediately deleted on the servers as soon as they have been delivered successfully.

All encrypted phone conversations are initially routed to our servers, but the unique session key – given only for the duration of that call – only reside on call participants’ devices. As soon as the call is established and all call participants are directly reachable, all calls are then moved to peer to peer mode and all encryption keys are deleted permanently.

To prevent eavesdropping by third parties (e.g. in open WiFi network), meta-information of messages (e.g. sender, recipient) is protected by an additional second encryption layer for transmission to the server, and from the server to the recipient , in addition there is always a running VPN service that will conceal your IP , at any given time .
